In case you were unaware, the Extreme Home Makeover team has been in Kemah this week assisting a family whose home was damaged during Ike. You can use this LINK to find out details about the family complete with photos and videos taken during the build.
The response has been amazing for volunteers - many who signed up weren't needed because the response. It is not too late donate food for the food drive at the Old Kemah School house by the Kemah boardwalk. This is where you catch the shuttle to the spectator site that runs 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The reveal is tomorrow.
Hopefully this volunteer spirit will continue after the bus moves.
